We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the written Word of God which, when explained to our hearts by the Holy Spirit, provide sufficient instruction and guidance to enable each of us to trust and obey God in all circumstances.

We believe that there is one and only one living and true God, eternally existing and revealing Himself through three persons who are equal in power and glory, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; who created all, upholds all and brings all things to pass according to the counsel of His own steadfastly merciful and absolutely just will.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, the Savior of the world and the only mediator between God and man, and that through His life, death, and resurrection as an atonement for sin, God freely offers forgiveness and restoration to all people.

We believe that it is through God’s grace alone that anyone is able to recognize and admit their rebellion against Him and only through His power that we are able to hate our sin and turn from it and toward Him, gratefully accepting Jesus Christ as our own Savior and the only rightful Lord of our lives.

We believe that the Holy Spirit, whom the Father is ever willing to give to all who ask Him, is the One by Whom we become convinced and assured of our acceptance by the Father and who abides in our souls; advising, convicting, comforting, empowering and renewing us to reflect the Glory of the Father.

We believe that the confessions of the reformed church (as described in the Apostles’ Creed) in their entirety, give the believer strong counsel and provide clear exposition of the fundamental tenets of Christian faith
